SOLID is a student run organization that is dedicated to strengthening awareness about diversity in our schools, our local communities, and most importantly, ourselves, through increased knowledge of and respect for different cultures.  Our goal is to foster a supportive, candid environment of open dialogue, passion, and action through regularly scheduled interscholastic conferences, community outreach initiatives, and fundraising activities to support organizations that align with our mission. In improving the discussion surrounding diversity and intersectionality within our high school communities, we hope to ameliorate society at large. By participating in SOLID, members will independently develop the tools to exercise concrete, effective leadership skills, allowing them to truly be the change they wish to see in the world.
