HOW CAN I JOIN SOLID​?
There are a number of different ways for you to join SOLID. Start by going to our TEAM PAGE
and filling out the form on the left. Don't be shy! Tell us about yourself, what school you go to, and the ways in which you would like to get involved with SOLID! There are a multitude of different ways for you to engage and we want to help you achieve all your goals. HOW CAN I BRING SOLID TO MY SCHOOL?
Our best recommendation to you for bringing SOLID to your school, would be to start a SOLID club! Though one of the primary purposes of SOLID is to promote an open, inter-scholastic dialogue regarding intersectionality, intrascholastic discussions and activities are a key building block in the process. Encourage community members to take the initiative of creating change at your own school so that the entire NYSAIS community at large is able to grow and develop in unity.

ARE THERE OTHER WAYS FOR ME TO GET INVOLVED?
Absolutely! We try to hold open, interscholastic conferences as frequently as possible. If you attend one of our represented schools, you are more than welcome to attend these conferences, regardless of whether or not you yourself are your school's representative, or even part of your school's SOLID club! In addition to these confrences, we hold community service trips which you can register for; or if you want to do work directly with our partner organizations, you can email us at solidnewyorkcity@gmail.com and we can help you get connected! SOLID happily supports the Jefferson Awards Foundation. Their mission is to inspire and empower others to have a maximum impact on the things they care about most. They enlist public service actions as a means of generating community impact. It is through celebration and union that they aim to drive change all over the world.
